About us

Dr. Shyam Singh Shakya Foundation, a registered charitable trust was established in 2015 to uplift the downtrodden and underprivileged masses with health facility and free medical camps. Now we have entered into Medical Education with our first college named "Captain Tara Kushwaha Nursing College and Research Center" under SGI [Shakya Group of Institutions] a unit of theTrust. For clinical experience our college is attached with 'Shakya Surgery Center, Etah. In today's world when globalization has penetrated into every aspect of our lives, education plays a major role in the advancement of one's social and personal life especially when competition is the norm of the day. I am sure with the facilities that we have provided like suitable infrastructure, excellent laboratories and eminent faculty will definitely drive our student's career in the upward direction and ensure wholesome development of our students.

   Goal

Our overall goal is to prepare qualified professional nurses in order to meet the demand of nurses at local level and then move forward to state level while assuming responsibility in promoting health, preventing disease and providing curative care to the people.

Scope of Nursing

Nursing is a unique profession because it addresses the responses of individuals and families to deal with health promotion, health maintenance and health problems. Nurses assure many simultaneous roles like direct care provider,  clinical decision maker, client and family advocate, researcher and educator. A professional registered nurse provides specialized service according to the standard of practice and follows a "code of ethics” .Nursing lacks a collective professional identity; there is political impotence and professional powerlessness. The scope of nursing practice is not limited to specific tasks,  functions and responsibilities, but also includes direct care giving, evaluating its impact and developing health policies for health care system.

Carrer

Current nursing and paramedical courses demonstrates the holistic trends in nursing by treating the person in all dimensions in health and illness and in interaction with the family and community .Career in nursing and paramedical courses will be more towards..... service education, nursing practice, research and development, administration, clinical nurse specialist, adult nurse practitioner, family nurse practitioner, acute care nurse practitioner, geriatric nurse practitioner, doctoral program in nursing, masters education, bachelor of science in management, pediatric nursing practitioner, women health nurse practitioner, certificate of forensic nursing, certificate in legal nurse consultant, certified registered nurse anesthetist, mobile nursing, space nursing, robotic nursing and Operation Theater Nursing .

Collage Profile

Our College Campus had started with the objective of preparing young aspirants to serve mankind with devotion, dedication, brotherhood and nationalism. The college has well equipped labs, auditorium and class room. The campus is having water supply through deep tube well and R.O. system is provided for safe drinking water. Hostel facility available for girls and boys seperately.

Sclorship Facalities

State government scholarship, government of India scholarship, merit scholarship and state department (ST/SC)are available for eligible candidate.

SNA

Student nurse Association is very active in our college which organizes many functions through out  the year such as fresher's welcome party, lamp lighting ceremony, farewell party and national festivals. SNA also participates in cultural program and other college events.

Attendance

Student will have to give biometric attendance every working day. They will not be permitted to attend the examination if his/her attendance in both Theory and Practical is less then75%of the working days.

Uniform

Student admitted to our college will be required to wear uniform approved by the institute ,white salwar / lower / legging with white kurta  & white duppta for girls and white full pant and shirts for boys. (half sleeves in summer and full sleeves in winter) white canvas shoes, white socks. white apron for all students

Rules & Regulations

All students will have to abide by the rules and regulation of the college.

Any violation will be delt strictly by the institute.

Every student shall attend classes and practical regularly they are not supposed to leave the college

premises without  permission of  the authority.

In case of sudden sickness permission has to be obtained from the principal to remain absent from  the  class.

Ragging is prohibited in the college.

Eligibility for Admissions

                                 Age    :    17 years  and above for  all G.N. M ,Optometry, and DOTT

                                  Qualification    :    12^th  Pass with English- G.N.M.

                                                                12th Pass with Bio or Math - DOPT and DOTT

                            Course Duration    :    3 Years (Diploma in G.N.M.  Course) Through Entrance exam

                                  DOTT               :     2  Years (Diploma Course) Direct Admission

                                 Optometry         :     2 Years (Diploma Course)  Direct Admission
